ACCROPODE™ - The Chatière breakwater - France
📆 At the end of September, our CLI Concrete Layer Innovations expert visited the Chatière construction site in Le Havre to assist Terélian and its subcontractor GTM OA in the prefabrication of the first ACCROPODE™ blocks.
📌 In June, Terélian and CLI signed a sub-license contract, technical assistance and compliance certificate for the Chatière project.
The Chatière breakwater, 2 km long, will create a permanent navigable link between Le Havre’s historic port and Port 2000. This breakwater will be protected by first-generation ACCROPODE™ armor units, identical in every way to those used on the François Lechevalier breakwater at Port 2000.
